Memory lane...

Feathers has been open for 4 1/2 years. Recently I came across these photos my mother took when we first opened. It's amazing to see how much the store has changed over the years. Walls were painted, racks added, dressing rooms added, bars taken off windows, but yet even when I look at these pics from October '05 we had some really great merchandise. Here's Masha and I downstairs...

Remember when the floor in the front room was checkered?

We loved these Somniferum tees by our friend Brendan Mills. Check out the dark walls and carpet! Now there's pergo and peacock wallpaper. 

This room only had two racks and now it has nine! 

Nearly all the changes made to the store Masha and I have done ourselves. We look forward to dressing the ladies of Austin in unique and amazing vintage for many more years to come!
