I think it's difficult to make a fashion editorial interesting in black and white. Color is such an important element in fashion, so to take that out of the equation, you're left with mastering the art of light. The next few shots are my favorites from a photoshoot with Raquel Zimmerman shot by Mario Sorrenti for Vogue Nippon October 2009. I think they are absolutely gorgeous!
This picture may be the coolest thing I've seen in a long time!
She looks like a goddess alien hovering over the earth. It's a little confusing at first to tell what's going on here, but it looks like the photo is being taken from underwater at night. How gorgeous is that?!
